Sri Lanka, July 30 -- Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu while welcoming the Sri Lankan Government's decision to issue medical and spouse visas for a period of one year for Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka on Monday said that his Government has prioritised youth empowerment and investment in vocational training.
"We see great potential for collaboration with Sri Lanka in this sphere. Sri Lankan educators have made invaluable contributions to the Maldivian education sector in the past. Sri Lanka also continues to be one of the preferred destinations for Maldivian students pursuing higher education and professional training", he said.
