Sri Lanka, July 31 -- Fifteen minutes extra will be provided for the children who sit for this year's Grade V Scholarship Examination on October 11.

The students will be given one hour to answer the first examination paper and the second paper, multiple choice question (MCQ) paper, will have only three choices. However, the allocated time for the second paper will not be reduced.

The Examinations Department has taken this step on several requests made by parents to the Minister.
