Sri Lanka, Dec. 24 -- The Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development has initiated a vital recovery program to restore industries paralyzed by the severe weather conditions and nationwide impact of Cyclone Ditwah. As a primary step toward stabilization, the government has authorized a one-time financial grant of Rs. 200,000 per industrial unit to support the revival of affected businesses.

In this initial phase, the Ministry has released a total of Rs. 106.2 million to benefit 531 registered industrialists who were identified and confirmed at the divisional secretariat level.
