Sri Lanka, Nov. 28 -- Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne
With the aim of laying a new foundation for the digital economy through innovation and investment whilst increasing the digital economic contribution of the overall economy to 15% by 2030, competitive with other countries in the region, an amount of Rs. 25.5 billion has been allocated for modernization and digitalization, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne said.
The main objective of this massive investment is to increase the digital economic contribution of the overall economy from the current level of less than 5% to 15% by 2030, competitive with other countries in the region, by promoting innovation-friendly and investment-friendly conditions....
