Sri Lanka, Feb. 10 -- Transport and Highways Deputy Minister Dr. Prasanna Gunasena says that immediate steps will be taken to suspend the semi-luxury bus service.

He also said that from now on, buses will only be allowed to ply in the country under the two categories of normal and luxury.

Speaking to the media after a discussion held in Kandy regarding the Kandy Multimodal Transport Centre, Deputy Minister Gunasena also said from now on, passenger transport service buses will only be allowed to be imported under three categories.
