Srilanka, June 27 -- The Government of Sri Lanka has initiated key steps to advance the nation's Research and Development (R&D) sector, including the development of a new National Policy on Research and Development.Sri Lankan cuisine

To support this effort, a multidisciplinary panel of experts has been convened, including Prof. Gomika Udugamasooriya, Senior Advisor to the President on Science and Technology, and Prof. Rohan Fernando, Chairman of the National Science and Technology Commission (NASTEC). The group also includes local and international specialists, public and private sector professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
