Srilanka, Feb. 26 -- The tariff policy that industrialists have been talking about for many years in Sri Lanka will be implemented this year, Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Chathuranga Abeysinghe (Pictured) said.
He made this statement while participating in the awards ceremony held recently organized by the Sri Lanka Industrial Development Board to "Recognize and Encourage the Best Entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka." Accordingly, under this tariff policy, there are necessary programs to uplift the business sector such as a minimum price for value-added services and inputs, a program to reduce production costs in the energy sector, a program to reduce transportation costs, and a data policy.
