Srilanka, April 7 -- The Sri Lankan Government has taken assertive steps to address the challenges arising from the recent tariff implementation by the United States, which imposes a 44% tariff on Sri Lanka due to its 88% trade deficit ratio.
Labour Minister Dr.Anil Jayantha Fernando, highlighted that a high-level technical committee, composed of both private and public sector representatives, has been established to analyse the impact and propose actionable solutions.
