Sri Lanka, Aug. 4 -- Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra stated that many steps have already been taken to get more employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in countries such as Japan, South Korea and Israel, which are providing employment opportunities through direct government intervention.
The Deputy Minister further stated that after the new Government came to office, developed countries impressed by the absence of political interference in various sectors of the Government, are opening up new job opportunities for Sri Lankan workers.
