Srilanka, Feb. 24 -- Deputy Minister of Housing T.B. Sarath announced that a special program is underway to prevent wild elephants from colliding with trains along the Batticaloa-Colombo railway line.

As part of this initiative, authorities are exploring measures such as speed restrictions in forested areas and the installation of solar panels along the tracks.
