SriLanka, Feb. 7 -- The Government has decided to modernize and develop 25 technical colleges across all districts in Sri Lanka in line with contemporary global standards, marking a major transformation in the country's vocational education sector.

The decision was revealed during a special discussion held at the Parliamentary Complex on February 6 under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Vocational Education Nalin Hewage.
