Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando said that the government is working to achieve the target of increasing Sri Lanka's gross foreign exchange reserves to US$ 15 billion by 2028.

Pointing out that Sri Lanka's gross foreign exchange reserves were currently US$ 6.147 billion (as of the end of July), the Minister said that the government is aiming to increase it significantly within the next three years.
