Srilanka, May 8 -- UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardena yesterday said that the outcomes of the Local Government election indicate government's failure.
He said that the election results highlighted the need of more closer and stronger unity among Opposition parties. "I believe there would be more closer unity among the parties following the election," he said.
He was addressing the candidates who contested the Local Government election from the Galle district at his election office yesterday.
