Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- The carrom and draughts games competitions which were organized by the Western Provincial Social Services Department to mark the 2025 International Elders Day, were won by H.G. Nandasena Gajanayake, who represented the Kandangamuwa Vikasitha Elders' Association" in the Mirigama Divisional Secretariat Division.

First place in both the carrom and draughts games was won by H.G. Nandasena Gajanayake.

The event was held to celebrate the skills and active participation of senior citizens across the country, with the aim of promoting recreation and community engagement among the elderly.
