Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- The Department of Examinations has announced a nationwide ban on all tuition-related activities for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination (2025), effective from midnight on May 11 until the conclusion of the exams.
The directive, issued under Section 22 of the Public Examinations Act No. 25 of 1968 and Gazette Notification No. 1816 (21.06.2013), strictly prohibits the following activities:
Instructional Sessions: Conducting physical or online tuition classes, subject-related lectures, seminars, or workshops for exam candidates.
Predictive Material: Printing or distributing question papers containing "guessed" questions.
