Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka Eric Lavertu, met with Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Southern Naval Command Headquarters.

During the meeting that ensued, the French Ambassador and Commander Southern Naval Area held a cordial discussion on several matters of mutual interests
