Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- Fourteen persons were injured in an accident involving three vehicles at Wevita on the Bandaragama - Kalutara road yesterday. The injured have been admitted to the Bandaragama and Panadura Hospitals.
Bandaragama Police said that a three-wheeler plying from Bandaragama to Kalutara had crashed into a lorry that came from the opposite side after the driver fell asleep, injuring two persons in three-wheeler.
Police said that a van that came behind the lorry had crashed into the rear side of the lorry injuring 12 persons who are members of a dance troupe from Chilaw.
Investigations are on under the supervision of Bandaragama OIC Chief Inspector Channa Amarasekera.
