Srilanka, May 5 -- Four third-year students from Sabaragamuwa University have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the recent death of a fellow student, police confirmed.
The arrests were made under the provisions of the Freshman Assault Act, as investigations intensify into the suicide of 23-year-old Charith Dilshan, a second-year student at the Faculty of Technology. He was a resident of Ihalagama, Pussellawa, and died by suicide on April 29.
