Sri Lanka, Dec. 23 -- Four entry lanes have been opened at the Seeduwa Interchange on the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway with effect from today (23) to improve services for expressway users.

The Road Development Authority (RDA) said the new arrangement includes one Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) lane and three ticket-issuing lanes, which will operate 24 hours a day.

The move aims to ease congestion and reduce delays faced by thousands of vehicles entering the expressway daily.

To prevent confusion and misuse of the ETC lane by drivers unfamiliar with the system, the lane has been clearly marked in blue.
