Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has arrested former Finance Ministry Secretary and former Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister, Charitha Ratwatte, in connection with a financial misconduct investigation.
According to CIABOC, Ratwatte was arrested over alleged irregularities in the importation of 50 temporary paddy warehouses in 2015 at a cost exceeding Rs. 90 million.
