Sri Lanka, March 3 -- Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament on Saturday that former President Maithripala Sirisena and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stopped investigating 1,200 complaints with regard to corruption and fraud received by the Anti-Corruption Unit which was implemented during the Good Governance Government.
He also said that he served as its Director and handed over 500 out of the 1,200 complaints received from political parties, the public and various institutions to the Bribery Commission, the Criminal Investigation Department and the FCID.
