Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Boderagama yesterday (2) ordered the remand until December 16 of former Minister C. B. Ratnayake, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) for committing an offence of corruption under the Money Laundering Act.

He was summoned to the Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission yesterday (2) morning to obtain statements in connection with an investigation being conducted by the Bribery Commission. The Magistrate made this order after he was arrested and produced before the Magistrate's Court.
