Srilanka, July 1 -- Controller of Immigration and Emigration, Harsha Illukpitiya, today (July 1) unconditionally pleaded guilty before the Supreme Court in a case related to contempt of court.
The charge stemmed from his failure to comply with a court order concerning the visa issuance process. The Supreme Court announced that sentencing will take place on July 24, 2025.
