Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara, who were arrested on charges of criminal negligence and the failure to prevent or minimise the damage caused in the Easter Sunday terrorist attack, were yesterday further remanded till December 3 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage.

Filing a further B-report before court, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday informed the Magistrate that 73 financial institutions had submitted financial statements of Hemasiri Fernando and Pujith Jayasundara.
