Sri lanka, July 21 -- Efforts are underway to amend five Acts, including the Intellectual Property Act, Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi said yesterday (20).He also said that the Archaeology Act, the Central Cultural Fund Act, the Film Corporation Act, the Arts Council Act, and the Censorship Board Act, which are under the Buddha Sasana Ministry will be amended soon. The Minister stressed that the need to amend the Intellectual Property Act to ensure the intellectual property rights of artists has become an urgent and highly important matter.
