Sri lanka, Oct. 2 -- A fire has reportedly broken out at the Galle Prison premises.
Two fire engines from the Galle Municipal Council Fire Department have been dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames.
Reports indicate that relatives of inmates have gathered near the prison following the incident. Authorities are currently managing the situation.
