Sri Lanka, March 1 -- Come to think of Das Kapital. Be warned, for it's not an easy read. No one alive at the time this treatise was published remains today. That was as far back as 1867. In case you are clueless about this magnum opus (most of the Millennials could be), is a work of political economy authored by Karl Marx. It remains to be the Marxists' guidebook. The tough read can be attributed to the complex and dense style in which the work is written - plus, the abstract concepts such as surplus value and commodity fetishism, and theoretical jargons such as alienation and use value.
