Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- Fifteen-year-old Jayden de Silva, currently Sri Lanka's fastest 200m butterfly swimmer, has been selected to the country's new national swimming squad, announced recently by the National Sports Selection Committee (NSSC) headed by Olympian Sriyani Kulawansa.
The Stafford International School student, who has trained at Killer Whale Aquatics (KWA) since 2017, is currently part of KWA's Elite Squad and continues to impress as one of the nation's most promising talents after an outstanding year at both junior and senior levels.
