Sri Lanka, Sept. 1 -- Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya created history by winning both the Under-20 and Under-17 championships at the Western Province National School Games Basketball Tournament organized by the Ministry of Education.

The matches were played at two venues, Gateway College Grounds in Colombo for the Under-20 final, and St. Joseph's Girls' College courts in Nugegoda for the Under-17 final.

In the Under-20 championship, the Familians displayed power and unity, led by captain Sachika Abeypala and vice captain Dihini Dharmadasa.
