Sri Lanka, Aug. 4 -- Fairfirst Insurance recently conducted a road safety awareness programme in Matara, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to promoting responsible road behaviour among schoolchildren and the public.
The event was held on June 26, at the Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Auditorium of the University of Ruhuna and at the Matara Beach Park, the session brought together more than 1,300 students from across the Matara Education Zone.
Organised in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Traffic Police, the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL) and other state partners, the event focused on building awareness around safer road habits and encouraging mindful behaviour on the roads to help reduce accidents.
