Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- A person who worked at the Moussakelle Tea Factory died at dawn on yesterday (5) after getting caught in the tea leaf processing machine (roller).
Commenting on an inquiry made, an officer of the Maskeliya Police said that Krishnan Vijayakumar (49), a resident of the estate who was working in the tea factory of the Moussakelle estate belonging to the Maskeliya Plantation Company, had died on the spot after getting caught in the tea leaf processing machine (roller) in the factory.
The accident had occurred around 2.10 am on November 5, and after the on-site inspection by the judge of the Hatton District and Magistrate's Court regarding this, steps have been taken to transport the body to the Dickoya District Base Hospi...
