Sri Lanka, Jan. 18 -- The Free Trade Zone Association's (FTZ) Export Processing Zones across Sri Lanka which were severely affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic is now fast returning to normalcy with all factories maintaining normal operations and recommencing exports.

Free Trade Zone Manufacturers Association, (FTZMA) Secretary Dhammika Fernando said that the Katunayake Zone is maintaining normal operations while the Brandix factory in Minuwangoda which was among the first to report COVID-19 positive employees of the second wave too has commenced 'usual' operations.
