Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara said that the establishment of evidence rooms for children to give safe testimony is a turning point in the country's judicial system.

The Minister expressed these views via video technology while participating in the launch of the process of streamlining services for child victims of violence held in Kandy on Wednesday (17).

The opening of an evidence room with digital facilities in the Kandy High Court, where child victims can give evidence safely, also took place simultaneously.
