Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- Atmospheric conditions are getting favorable for evening thundershowers in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces during the next few days. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm are likely at some places. A few showers may occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
