Srilanka, June 11 -- The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has announced a 15% increase in electricity tariffs, effective from June 12, covering the second half of 2025.
The decision was revealed during a special media briefing held by the Commission today. The revision is expected to impact all consumer categories and reflects adjustments to operational and fuel costs, among other economic factors.
