Srilanka, March 17 -- Eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent fatal stabbing of two youths in the Jacobs Lane area of the Grandpass Police Division.

The incident occurred in the early hours of March 15, and following investigations, police apprehended a group of suspects aged between 16 and 44 in Wellampitiya last night (16).

Authorities have also seized two knives and a mobile phone believed to have been used in the crime.

The Grandpass Police are continuing further investigations.
