Srilanka, Feb. 20 -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Buddhist Studies, Religious, and Cultural Affairs on February 20, chaired by Minister Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, to discuss measures for the expedited conservation of the skeleton discovered in Pahiyangala Cave, one of Sri Lanka's largest natural caves.

The skeleton, which was assembled from bone fragments found during research excavations, is currently housed at the Department of Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sri Jayewardenapura. It was proposed that the skeleton be transferred to the Department of National Museums for proper security arrangements, with plans to open it for public exhibition in the future.
