Srilanka, Feb. 17 -- The medical experts of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) recently expressed concern over the hot climatic condition currently affecting several parts of the country and said engaging in outdoor activities such as sports or any other prolonged activity in these conditions could lead to dehydration.
Lady Ridgeway Hospital's Consultant Paediatrician Dr. Deepal Perera explained that dehydration occurs when a person does not consume adequate water or fluids when needed.
He also stated that symptoms of dehydration including headaches, vomiting, fainting and body pain are the symptoms of dehydration and drinking enough water or other fluid at this time is the best remedy to get rid of dehydration. He also urged parents to ...
