Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- The Dr. R. L. Hayman Memorial Museum was officially declared open on Saturday (25), coinciding with the Open Day at S. Thomas' College, Gurutalawa. The ceremony was graced by Old Boys from Sri Lanka and overseas, members of the Board of Governors, Faculty and Staff, and parents and well-wishers who joined in celebrating this historic occasion.

The Opening was jointly officiated by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Laksiri Perera, Headmaster of S. Thomas' College, Gurutalawa, and Nihal Wanniarachchi, Chairman of the Hayman Memorial Digital Initiative (HMDI).

The Museum stands as a lasting tribute to Dr. R.L. Hayman, the Founder, Headmaster of the College (1942-1963), whose vision, faith and generosity shaped generations of Thomians....
