Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Chinese Envoy in Colombo, Qi Zhenhong, said on Wednesday that the dollar-centric system has revealed its structural contradictions, including imbalances in liquidity provision and the spillover of financial risks.
The ambassador noted that this scenario has resulted in the marginalisation of the interests of developing countries.
"The global economic landscape has undergone profound adjustment and the globalisation continues to advance, the dollar-centric system has gradually exposed its structural contradictions", he said.
