Sri Lanka, May 3 -- Sri Lanka's Dinara de Silva reached the girls' singles final of the ITF Junior Circuit J30 SSC Colombo Week 2 with a strong straight-sets win at the Sinhalese Sports Club Courts in Maitland Place yesterday.

Dinara beat India's Savitha Bhuvaneswaran 7-5, 6-3 in a tense semi-final and will now face another Indian player, Aleena Farid, in the final today (Saturday).

The national champion from St. Bridget's Convent easily defeated Japan's Haru Ishida in straight sets, winning 6-2, 6-0 in their girls' quarter-final encounter. Dinara dominated the match from the first set.
