Sri Lanka, Nov. 14 -- Sri Lanka's forward Dillon de Silva, who missed the last two international series, has rejoined the national team ahead of their two-match FIFA series against Yemen. The matches, set for November 16 and 19 in Doha, Qatar, will be crucial for Sri Lanka's preparation for the third round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027.
At just 22 years old, de Silva has already made a mark on Sri Lankan football since his debut in 2021. With 16 appearances and two goals for his country, he has established himself as one of the team's key players.
