Sri Lanka, May 22 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage released ousted State Minister Diana Gamage on bail over the case of obtaining a Sri Lankan Passport by providing false details to the Commissioner General of Immigration and Emigration after she appeared before Court through an attorney by a motion yesterday.

She was released on two surety bails of Rs.10 million each and a cash bail of Rs.500,000.

Issuing the bail order, the Chief Magistrate ordered suspect Gamage not to make any defamatory statements on any individuals in the aggrieved party.

When the case was called before the Chief Magistrate, there were no officers representing the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) present in Court.
