Srilanka, Nov. 8 -- Three golfers, home course player S. Dhuwarshan, Sri Lanka's top-ranked WAGR player Dhanushan Kumara, and professional golfer Wijitha Bandara - shared the joint lead on the opening day of the Sri Lanka Golf November Ranking Tournament, which began at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) yesterday.
All three carded a two-over-par 73 to finish at the top of the leaderboard in chilly and challenging conditions.
Just one shot behind was P.D.S.U. Kumara, who posted a 74 to keep the leaders within reach. A strong group of contenders, including Uchitha Ranasinghe, B. Vinoth Kumar, and M.H. Chalitha Pushpika, were tied on 76, ensuring the battle for the top positions remains wide open heading into the next round.
