Sri Lanka, Dec. 23 -- Development expert M.G. Hemachandra assumed duties as the new Chairman of the Urban Development Authority (UDA) on December 20, during a ceremony held at the UDA headquarters. Deputy Minister of Urban Development Eranga Gunasekara and a group of officials were present at the event.
Hemachandra brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously served as a Senior Specialist and Loan Project Manager at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Sri Lanka.Sri Lanka Developers
