Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Left hand opener Daninidu Chirath Sellapperuma of St. Joseph's College Anuradhapura scored a mammoth 553 runs against Lyceum International School Anuradhapura in their first round fixture of the Under 15 division three inter schools cricket tournament match at Salgado ground Anuradhapura yesterday. His knock included 63 boundaries and 31 sixes facing 204 deliveries.

This is the highest individual score by any school cricket player in the country. St. Joseph's College scored mammoth 722 runs for 1 wicket in 50 overs. Danindu Chirath Sellapperuma and Gaviru Hearth made 449 runs stand for their first wicket partnership.
