Sri Lanka, Jan. 22 -- Sri Lanka's Sahansa Damsiluni and Annaya Norbert performed brilliantly in the girls' quarter-finals at the ITF Asia 14&U Development Championships, held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts in Colombo yesterday.

In a thrilling match, Sahansa Damsiluni defeated Adama Macono of Mongolia 6-4, 6-3, securing her spot in the semi-finals. Annaya Norbert also advanced, dominating Bangladesh's Howladcr Jannat 6-3, 6-1. In another match, Pakistan's Sohail Hajira triumphed over Sri Lanka's Eliza Kahagalla 6-4, 3-1, after Eliza retired due to injury.
