Srilanka, March 27 -- Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) General Secretary and Nuwara Eliya District Member of Parliament Jeevan Thondaman said that he will file action in court regarding the rejection of two nominations filed by the CWC in respect of the upcoming Local Government (LG) Elections.

He said this to the media subsequent to the rejection of two nominations submitted to contest the Maskeliya and Kotmale Pradeshiya Sabhas at the LG polls.

Speaking further, MP Thondaman said that the CWC had handed over nominations for contesting the Local Government Elections for the Nuwara Eliya district and that the nominations for the Maskeliya and Kotmale Pradeshiya Sabhas had not been accepted.
