Srilanka, April 23 -- A major drug bust took place at the Colombo Central Mail Exchange today, when Customs officers intercepted a consignment of narcotics arriving through the International Express Mail Service.

The seized stock included 12.677 kilograms of "Kush" and 1.852 kilograms of "Hashish," with an estimated street value of Rs. 154.55 million.

In addition to the narcotics, Customs also uncovered a quantity of electronic cigarettes and chewing gum believed to be infused with "Kush."

The seized items are to be handed over to the Colombo Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation and legal action.
