Sri Lanka, Nov. 13 -- A meeting between the Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andres Marcelo Gonzalez Garrido, and the General Secretary of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), Tilvin Silva, took place yesterday (12) at the JVP headquarters in Pelawatte, Battaramulla. The discussion focused on the current political situation in Sri Lanka and explored ways to further strengthen the long-standing friendship between Cuba and Sri Lanka.
